Emily Rowe Emily Rowe

Emily is an advocate for small business. Since she was young, she studied successful local and national businesses and their owners. Throughout college she was a partner in a construction business in addition to working a full time job, and completed her Bachelors of Business Administration Degree in Accountancy from Western Michigan University in the spring of 2001. Graduating Cum Laude, Emily pressed forward with her commitment to small business, working along side local Certified Public Accountancy firms.

In 2004, Emily started Prospectus Business Systems, LLC, in March of 2008 the Business Legacy Institute, and launched The Business Legacy Institute blog site in August of 2009. Her most valuable business relationships have been those created by working with other service providers to solve management problems for common clients. Emily perpetually educates herself of the services of local vendors in order to best serve her clients, and believes in Proverbs 11:14, "there is wisdom in a multitude of counselors." She feels fortunate to work with a knowledgeable staff experienced in small business ownership.

Emily is married to Derek Rowe and is the mother of three children. In her community, Emily has initiated local activities to encourage local business and merchant support of downtown Plainwell, and is a presenter for the local library. Emily is an active member of her church, and a supporter of many local charities and non-profit companies. She is also a member of the National Association of Women in Construction.

"I respect the professionals that I have been blessed to work alongside, and value their continued contribution to the small business. I am compelled to be steadfast in my commitment to entrepreneurship and the spirit of free enterprise." - Emily Rowe
